John from Owensboro, KY. Lake, Generation and Water Temp the same. Better day, Southwest wind. Caught 22 Trout, 24" Trophy Brown. About 6 lbs. Catch and Release. Using Crankbaits and spoons.

John from Owenboro, KY. Lake 682 +ft steady. Generation 11,200cfs. Water very high. 7-12ft over shoals. Water Temp 60-63. East Wind, tough day. Caught 4 trout. 20" Trophy Brown. Catch and Release. Using Crankbaits and Spoons

Thurs, Oct 29, 2009 - Ready to Go
Lake 681.58ft falling. Generation increased to 11,250cfs. A friend call last night who fishes the same areas I do. He fished Tues and Wed. Caught fish. Lot of stockers, one 20" Trophy Brown. He said he had lots of passes from big fish, but few strikes from big fish. I am so ready to go. I have two Guide Trips next week. I let you know the results.

Sun, Oct 25, 2009 - Heading Home Today
Lake 682.8ft falling. River generation 10,000cfs steady. River medium high. Shoals 5-8ft under water. My wife and I have been in Denver for the last six days sitting with our 1 & 3 years old grandsons. My son and wife have been buying a house in Portland, OR. Had a great time but ready to come home. I'm am so ready to fish. This may be the longest break I've taken in the last 15 years. I'll be hitting it hard very soon. Let you know the results.

Mon, Oct 19, 2009 - River Mid High
Lake 684.07ft steady, river 10,000 cfs generation all day. Shoals 5-8ft under water. My back is feeling much better. Had to postpone/cancel trips last week. Will be back on water next week. If rain will slow down, it should set up for some great fall fishing.

Fri, Oct 16, 2009, River Rising
Lake 682.10ft, rising 1/2ft a day. Generation 13,400cfs, lots of water. Shoals covered 8-12 ft. Sore back getting better. I'll be back on the water Mon, Oct 26. Steelhead strain Rainbows and Browns getting closer to spawning. I'm ready.
